  • Event Name: TechTrek: Hackathon Adventure 
  • Date of Competition: 14 February 2026 
  • Time: 10:00 AM onwards 
  • Duration: 5 Hours (300 Minutes) 
  • Team Size: Minimum 2 – Maximum 4 Members 
  • Theme: Declared on the day of the Hackathon 
  • AI Integration: Mandatory use of AI tools for coding 
  • Evaluation Focus: Prompt Engineering and Logic Verification 
  • Event Coordinators: Mr. Rutvik Patel, Ms. Veena Patel

2. Objective

The hackathon was organized to encourage innovation, teamwork, and practical coding skills among students. It also aimed to introduce students to the effective use of AI tools in software development.


3. Event Description

TechTrek: Hackathon Adventure was a team-based coding competition where participants worked collaboratively to solve real-world problems. The theme was revealed on the day of the event.

A unique feature of the hackathon was the AI integration, where participants were required to use AI tools for coding assistance. Teams were evaluated not only on their final solution but also on their understanding of the generated code and their prompt engineering skills.

 

4. Rules and Guidelines

  • Teams consisted of 2 to 4 members 
  • Participants had to bring their own laptops 
  • Internet facility was provided by the institute 
  • Use of AI tools was mandatory 
  • Teams had to maintain a Prompt Log of AI interactions 
  • Copying complete projects from external sources was not allowed 
  • Participants were expected to maintain discipline throughout the event 
  • Judges’ decisions were final.
