This workshop aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the NEP and its implications for research across various disciplines. The following topics will be covered in workshop: Ÿ Establishment of the Research and Development Cells (RDCs) Ÿ Interdisciplinary Research Ÿ Increasing R&D linkages and collaborations Ÿ Improving the R&D output Ÿ Improving accessibility of R&D infrastructure Ÿ Technological interventions and digital linkages.

The workshop started at 10:00 AM with brief introduction of NEP and focus on its implementation in research. The speakers were introduced by Mr. Praveer Upadhyay. Dr. Tejas Joshi shed light upon NEP and its role in improving quality of research in the India. Speaker discussed about various government policies to encourage research and also talked about types of grants available. Post lunch session was taken by Prof. Dr. Uma Warrier on Research publication Ethics. She discussed in detail about plagiarism types and its repercussions. She also discussed about research ethics with the help of asking quiz questions in interactive manner. Faculties and research scholars participated in active manner. The One day workshop on NEP implementation in research is successfully introduced participants with aspects of National Education policy and its connection in promoting research in India. Government’s initiatives for promoting research was highlighted in detail by speaker. Research ethics are conveyed in very simple and effective manner. Do’s and don’ts with repect to research ethics communicated in very simple and effective manner by speaker. The vote of thanks is extended by Dr. Ajay Gupta Sir.
