The Ganpat University Faculty of Computer Application, in collaboration with reputable publishing partner Springer, organized the Fifth Edition of the Springer International Conference on Computing Science, Communication, and Security (COMS2). The conference took place in a hybrid format (online and offline) on February 6 and 7, 2024.
In his Presidential address, Padma Shri Dr. Ganpatbhai I. Patel, President and Patron in Chief of Ganpat University, Gujarat, India, said the 5th International Conference COMS2 hosted by the Ganpat University and Springer Nature, would serve as a platform for sharing new research findings in the areas of Internet of Things, Network, Communication and Security. He also highlighted the significance of critical and creative thinking for research and its future impact on society in the years to come. Other dignatories presence of academic leaders and luminaries: Dr. Noor Zaman from Taylor’s University, Malaysia ; Dr. Sabu M. Thampi, IIIT, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.
Dr. Neeli Prasad, Founder and CEO of SmartAvatar B.V., Netherlands/USA was the Chief Guest of the program, In her inaugural address, she discussed her research journey and experience. She also stated that the students, youth, and research scholars of the present generation should devote more attention and turn their focus to research since Artificial Intelligence will impact every aspect of human life and society as a whole. She delivered the first plenary session talk on "The Human-AI Collaboration: Navigating the Ethical and Digital Privacy Challenges of the Digital Age". Dr. Satyen Parikh, General Chair of the Conference welcomed all the guests and briefed them about the conference that COMS2-2024 witnessed a record - breaking 290 research papers submitted through the Springer EquinOCS Online System. After a rigorous double-blind peer review process, 31 outstanding research papers were accepted for oral presentation, achieving an impressive paper acceptance ratio of 11% . There were three plenary session talks held covering the different areas of the conference, Dr. Ketan Kotecha, Director, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India, delivered the second keynote talk on "Research Directions in Artificial Intelligence."
Objective of the Conference:
- To provide a global platform to the academicians, researchers and scientists to exchange their newest research findings and publish their result findings in Scopus Indexed Springer CCIS Conference Proceedings.
- COMS2 present valuable opportunities to learn about cutting edge research, meet new people, and build strong professional relationships with others in relevant research field.
Outcome of the Conference :

- Listen renowned Keynote Speakers in area of Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Computing Science and Communications and attend all the technical plenary session talk and inspired by new ideas and research scope.
- Attendee able to stay abreast of new research findings and changing trends by attending 31 technical novel research paper presentation in the area of Artificial Intelligence, IoT and and Cyber Physical System and Network Communications and interacted with the researchers , experts, speakers and session chair.
