The Orientation Program for the newly admitted batch of 2025–2026 commenced with a warm and inspiring Inaugural Function held on the morning of 17th July 2025 at the MBA Auditorium Hall. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as students, faculty, and esteemed guests gathered to begin this important academic journey.
The event began at 10:00 AM with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the light of knowledge and new beginnings. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Satyen Parikh, Pro Vice Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Computer Applications, who extended heartfelt wishes to the new batch and highlighted the university’s vision for shaping global professionals.
A formal statement of gratitude and guest welcome was presented to honor the presence of distinguished dignitaries.
The gathering was then privileged to hear a ceremonial address by Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Group Pro-Chancellor of Ganpat University, who emphasized the importance of character, commitment, and continuous learning in a student’s life.
This was followed by blessings from Padma Shri Ganpatbhai I. Patel (Dada), Patron-in-Chief and President of Ganpat University, whose message was deeply motivating and reminded students to lead a life rooted in values and innovation.
Another heartfelt blessing came from Dr. Hasumatiben, daughter of Patron Donor Shri A. M. Patel, who encouraged students to embrace the legacy of educational excellence and contribute meaningfully to society.
The event was further enriched by the addresses from distinguished industry guests, who shared invaluable professional insights:
- Mr. Jayesh Gandhi, Managing Director, Harikrupa Automation Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, shared his entrepreneurial journey and inspired students to embrace discipline, innovation, and self-learning to grow in the evolving tech landscape.
- Mr. Nikhil Patel, Director of Sales, Mind Quad Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, joined online and addressed the students on the topic: “Becoming a Successful IT Professional in Today’s Digital Era.” He emphasized the importance of digital transformation and urged students to align their learning with rapidly evolving industry trends.
- Mr. Jatin Patel, Practice Head and Cloud Solutions Architect, Mind Quad Solutions Pvt. Ltd., also joined virtually and addressed the students on emerging cloud technologies and their global relevance.
- Mr. Hardik Soni, Senior Lead – Architecture, Gateway Group of Companies, Ahmedabad, delivered an inspiring talk on future-ready skills and adaptability.
- Mr. Nimeshkumar Prajapati, Lead Engineer – Quality Engineering & AI, Anblicks Inc., Ahmedabad, concluded the guest segment with insights into artificial intelligence and quality engineering.
Adding to the grace of the occasion was the esteemed presence of Dr. Nirbhay Chaubey, Dean, Faculty of Computer Applications, Ganpat University; Dr. Ajay Patel, Coordinator, AM Patel Institute of Computer Studies; and Dr. Ketan Patel, Coordinator, AM Patel Institute of Computer Studies. Also present were Dr. Savan Patel, BCA Programme Coordinator and Associate Professor, Faculty of Computer Studies; Dr. Jyotindra Dharwa, Programme Coordinator and Associate Professor, Faculty of Computer Applications; and Dr. Bhavesh Patel, Programme Coordinator and Associate Professor, Faculty of Computer Applications, Ganpat University. Their collective presence added strong academic leadership and encouragement for the new batch of students.
The function concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Dr. Nirbhay Chaubey, appreciating the efforts of all dignitaries, coordinators, faculty members, and the organizing team. His words inspired the students to make the most of every opportunity at Ganpat University. The program ended with the University Song, evoking a deep sense of pride, belonging, and unity among all attendees.
