Introduction:
AMPICS organized the “Pixel Perfect: Web Page Design Competition” on 10 February 2026 for BCA Semester-2 students. The competition aimed to encourage creativity, enhance technical skills, and provide students with a platform to showcase their web design abilities.
Objective:
The primary objective of the competition was to develop students’ practical knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript while promoting innovative thinking around the theme “Future of Technology.”
Event Description:
Participants were tasked with designing an original and user-friendly web page that envisioned the future of technology, including areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and space exploration. Students demonstrated excellent creativity by developing visually appealing homepages along with additional supporting pages.
The competition allowed internet access, enabling participants to research ideas while maintaining originality in their designs. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students presenting innovative concepts and functional layouts within the given time.
Judging Criteria:
The websites were evaluated based on Creativity and Originality, User Experience, Visual Appeal, Technical Implementation, and Adherence to the Theme.
