Ritesh Joshi (Ph.D., M.Tech (CSE), M.C.A.), currently working as an Assistant Professor in Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies (AMPICS), Kherva, Mehsana, Gujarat. He joined the institute in Aug, 2022. Prior to joining Ganpat University he worked as an Asst. Prof. in Medi-Caps University, Indore for 14 years. Prior to joining Medi-Caps University, he worked as an Sr. Lecturer at SRGP Gujarati Professional Institute, Indore for 4 years. He has done his graduation (B.Sc.) from IKDC, Indore, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore and Masters in Computer Application from LDCE, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University in year 2003. He has completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from RGPV, Bhopal, MP in year 2010 and Ph. D. from DAVV, Indore, MP in the year 2022.

He has around 18 years of experience in the field of teaching. His areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence and Emotion Computing. He had taught various subjects in the field of computer science such as C programming, System Analysis and Design, Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, Data Warehousing and Mining, Computer Graphics, Database Management System, Operating System, Software Testing, Software Automation Testing.

Under his guidance 14 M. Tech. students, and 80 MCA students completed and 6 MCA Students continue for their quality research work. His areas of research are Emotion Computation, Affective Computing, EEG Signal Processing, and Machine Learning. He has published and presented 10 research papers in National and International Journals and conferences. He has also reviewed the research papers in the reputed international conferences and journals.

Apart from teaching he has played an active role in Academic Administration, Co-Curricular and non-curricular Activities. He has worked as Program Officer for NSS unit at Medi-Caps University, Indore during 2021-22. He is also having keen interest in Spirituality and Universal Human Values.
