Dr. Meghna Patel currently working as an Associate Dean of Research (FCA), Associate Professor, Co-Ordinator of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Course, Research Co-Ordinator at Faculty of Computer Applications at Ganpat University, Gujarat India.

Dr. Meghna B. Patel is associated with Ganpat University since 2007. She has Experienced with 16+ years. She has received her Ph.D. Degree (Faculty of Computer Applications) in 2018 from Ganpat University.

Her research interests lie in the areas of Image Processing, Biometric Authentication, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Published 29+ research papers in reputed International Journal and Conference proceedings by Springer, Elsevier, IEEE indexed by Scopus and Web of Science, published 6 book chapters in Scopus-indexed international books of Springer, IGI Global, and contributed 3 patents. Her published research works well cited by the research community worldwide which shows his exceptional research performance, Google citations: 116 and H-index: 7. She has guided the 50+ students of UG, 140+ PG for their industrial projects. Currently she is guiding 2 Research Scholars for their research work as a Research Supervisor and other Ph.D. Scholars as a Research Coordinator. She acted as mentor in 2 research projects in different national level research convention like Shodh, Shodh-Shikher and 3 research projects at SSIRP, SSIP and in Hackathon. Dr. Meghna Patel has been very active as TPC member and reviewer for international IEEE and Springer conferences. She also worked as Member of ACM as a Faculty Sponsor of Ganpat University ACM Student Chapter and Webmaster in Ahmedabad ACM Chapter.

She is recipient of the President Award for staff excellence awards from the last three years in different categories in research and learning-teaching. During this tenure, she has experience in teaching various subjects in Bachelor and Master Courses of FCA. She has completed certification courses for enhancing the research by different sources like edX, BitDegree, Udemy, Coursera, Google etc., also provide training to students to complete google cloud and android kotlin certification courses.
