Ketan D. Patel(Ph.D., M.C.A.), currently working as an Associate Professor in Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies, Kherva. He joined the institute in 2006. He has done his graduation and masters in computer application from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, Gujarat. He has completed his Ph. D from Ganpat University, Kherva, Mehsana, Gujarat in 2017. He loves to solve programming challenges. He is an innovative teacher who loves to teach with fun.

He has around 16 years of experience in the field of teaching. His areas of interest are Web Development and Programming. He had taught various subjects in the field of computer science such as C programming, System Analysis and Design, Software Engineering, Web development using PHP, Software Quality Assurance, Data Structure, Web Designing, Database Management System, Python Programming and NoSQL database. He wrote two books in the domain of Data Structure and Web Application Development.

Apart from teaching he has played an active role in Academic Administration, Co Curricular and non-curricular Activities. Looking at his contribution, he has received the President award from Ganpat University in the year 2019 in the category of Institutional Capacity Building.

His areas of research are Web User behavior Analysis, Web Usability, Web Mining, Educational Data Mining, Machine Learning. He has published and presented 15 research papers in National and International Journals and conferences. He has also reviewed the research papers in the reputed international conferences and journals. 1 student has completed his Ph.D and 3 students are pursuing their Ph. D under his guidance. He is an active member of ACM.
