Dr.Jigneshkumar A.Chauhan, Ph.D currently working as an Associate Professor in Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies, at Ganpat University Kherva since July 2007.

Prior to joining Ganpat University, he worked as Management Trainee(MCA) at KPT (Kandla Port Trust),Gandhidham.

He Taking challenges and responsibilities and living up to them has always been his motto and He wishes to do the same after joining the organization by making the optimum use of his technique, communication skills.

He has been working as recognized guide in the subject computer application in the Ganpat University and four students are pursuing Ph. D. under his guidance.

Dr. Jigneshkumar A. Chauhan has published over 31 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings, indexed in Springer, Scopus, and Web of Science. He has participated in numerous national and international FDPs, STTPs, workshops, and webinars, and has effectively implemented the acquired knowledge in his teaching and learning practices. He has also completed several certification courses from platforms such as edX, BitDegree, Udemy, and Coursera to strengthen his research and academic expertise.

Dr. Jigneshkumar A. Chauhan has facilitated the signing of several MoUs between AMPICS, Ganpat University, and various IT-based companies under the Industry Interface Association (IIA) initiative. Additionally, he serves as a member of the University NAAC Steering Committee, and holds memberships in professional bodies such as the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

Dr.Jigneshkumar A.Chauhan has successfully completed the research project titled “Customer behavior analysis and prediction for vegan food preferences” of amount Rs. 50000 sponsored by Vgungho Marketplace Ventures, Bangalore from 16 March, 2020 to 15 September.

Dr.Jigneshkumar A.Chauhan has successfully completed the research project titled “A Comparative analysis of open source CMSs, Framework and E-Commerce platforms” of amount Rs. 40,000 sponsored by Multidots solutions Pvt. Ltd. in January 2019.

Award

Dr.Jigneshkumar A.Chauhan received the “President Award for Staff Excellence” in the category of Learning and Teaching for the year 2023 on 12^th January 2023, along with a grant of Rs. 1,00,000 awarded exclusively for his professional development.

Dr.Jigneshkumar A.Chauhan also received the “President Award for Staff Excellence” in the category of Support Services and Engagement for the year 2022 on 12^th January 2022, with a grant of Rs. 1,00,000 awarded exclusively for his professional development.

Dr. Jigneshkumar A. Chauhan also serves as the Placement Coordinator of the Faculty of Computer Applications (FCA). Under his coordination, more than 160 companies have been invited for placement drives, resulting in the successful placement of over 500 students across various organizations. Notably, in the previous year, one student secured a package of ₹17.24 lakh per annum.
